Waves of Change

The rusting hull of the old Waterford City dredger, left to decay, rust and collapse away into the ocean. A long exposure B&W of a once-elegant maritime ship 'The Port Lairge', that has long since been decommissioned. Port Lairge was a Waterford "mud boat". She was a steam dredger. that served Waterford's Harbour Commission in Co Waterford Ireland from circa 1912 until retired in 1987. She now lies. abandoned in Bannow Bay, visible above water.
