An early sunrise in spring at Fanad Lighthouse Co Donegal, Ireland. A powerful & colourful image of an iconic working lighthouse operated by the Commissioners of Irish Lights. Located at the mouth of Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay, Fanad Lighthouse has been voted one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world. A heaving sea splashing on the jagged rocks in the early morning light is in stark contrast to the smooth white lighthouse and the promise of a new dawn with the sky and clouds alight with colour.
