1798 Map Book

A hand-painted 1798 Map book of the counties of Ireland. This book is beautifully painted and is open on the Waterford County page showcasing all the towns, coastal bays and county lines. Published on the 12th May by Laurie & Whittle 53 Fleet Street in London the incredible detail of the map is accompanied by a page of text based on the boroughs and parishes. A pair of glasses are placed on this book as a still life made to look like someone has been reading/studying this ancient book.
