Description

Pareidolia is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus, usually visual, so that one sees an object, pattern, or meaning where there is none. The human ability to see shapes or make pictures out of randomness. Think of the Rorschach inkblot test. In this image many see a gecko or a puffin on the bark of this tree trunk.
